Cement-based leveling compound 0-10 mm (per 25kg)

Product information

Staenis uses FM10 to level tileable insulating screed, sand-cement screeds and uneven concrete substrates. The compound smooths the rough surface of the insulating screed, making tiling easier.

Specifications

• Layer thickness: 0-10 mm, featherable to 0 mm.
• Consumption: approximately 1.5 kg/m² per mm of thickness.
• Pack size: 25 kg; colour: light grey. Excellent flow, low tension and suitable for pumping.
• Mixing water: 5.5-6 L per 25 kg bag.
• Working time: approximately 30 minutes. Walkable: approximately 2 hours.
• Up to 10 mm: ceramic tiles after approximately 12 hours; natural stone after approximately 24 hours and complete drying.
• These times are indicative at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity. Minimum floor temperature 10 °C; ideally 15-25 °C.
• EN 13813: CT-C25-F5. Reaction to fire A1fl. EMICODE EC1 PLUS: very low emissions.
• For interior floors beneath ceramic tiles or natural stone.

Application

1. Make the substrate sound, dry, clean and dust-free. Remove loose material, repair cracks and carry existing movement joints through.
2. Before the first levelling layer, apply the corresponding FG300 primer to absorbent substrates such as tileable insulating screed and sand-cement. Allow it to dry completely. Staenis’s dilution advice is given with the primer.
3. Pour cold, clean water into a clean container, add the powder and mix thoroughly until free of lumps. Respect the stated water dosage and Staenis’s slow-mixing advice.
4. Spread evenly with a smoothing trowel or rake; use a spiked roller where needed. Protect the fresh layer from draughts, sunlight, heat and water. Full preparation, special substrates and drying conditions are explained in the sheet below.
