Latermix Cem Classic is a lightweight, insulating no fines pervious concrete based on expanded clay from the manufacturer with an intermediate grain size, suitable for a wide range of applications, from sub screeds and fills for floor levelling including in high thickness, roof falls, up to drainage screed for the evacuation of rainwater.

Latermix Cem Classic is a packaged, ready-to-use lightweight concrete, ready for use after mixing in a concrete mixer or planetary mixer with water as specified in the technical data sheet; it dries quickly, even in very thick layers. It is light, 600 kg/m³, i.e. less than a third of the weight of conventional or flowable screeds.

Staenis practical advice: if you do not have a concrete mixer, Cem Classic can also be mixed with a powerful handheld mortar mixer, at least of the Rubimix type shown on our Dutch information page (1200 W, two gears). Use a suitable mortar paddle and respect the mixer capacity. This advice is based on Staenis practical experience; the manufacturer data sheet describes concrete or planetary mixers and excludes drill-type mixers. An ordinary drill with a mixing attachment is therefore not equivalent to this handheld mortar mixer.

Required Quantity

• Quantities: 3 liters of water per bag
• Package: bags each of 50 litres on non-returnable wooden pallets
• 60 bags/pallet = 3 m³/pallet
• 1 bag = 50 liters = ± 5 cm/m² = 25.6 kg
• Bags required per 1 m² of floor area: ± 0,21 bags per 10 mm depth
